We’re Jess and Corey: a husband-and-wife creative team, with a home in Boston, roots in Las Vegas, and a love for stories that take us somewhere.
THE SHORT VERSION
We met on Tinder in 2016. Jess swiped left, reconsidered, and found her way back to Corey’s profile. Photography and travel gave us something to talk about. Building a life together gave those stories meaning.
Now, The Combs Films brings our moving-image work into its own space within The Combs Creative family. We document weddings and elopements, and create video for brands, places, and people with something to say.
FOUNDER / PHOTOGRAPHER / CREATIVE STORYTELLER
Jess has been photographing since 2006. Her eye moves between the carefully chosen details and the unplanned moments that give a story its life. That perspective connects the photography, film, and creative work across our brands.
Travel, personal style, and the experience of being on both sides of the camera shape her approach. She wants the work to feel personal, expressive, and grounded in the people it is made for.
VIDEOGRAPHER / ENGINEER / DRUMMER
Corey brings an engineer’s attention to detail and a drummer’s sense of rhythm to filmmaking. His technical and creative interests meet in the work: how a moment is recorded, how it moves, and how it feels when you watch it again.
Outside the camera, his interests include gaming and hiking. Behind it, he is part of the husband-and-wife team at the heart of The Combs Creative and The Combs Films.
JESSICA COMBS / THE CREATIVE FOUNDATION
Modeling, movement, floral work, merchandising and event production are part of the story behind Jess’s creative direction. They shape her attention to people, atmosphere and the details within a frame.
Experience in front of the lens brings an understanding of how direction feels. Cheerleading and performance contribute a sensitivity to rhythm and movement; styling and merchandising bring an eye for how details work together.
Today, Jess brings that perspective to creative direction, photography, Super 8 and production planning. Corey leads wedding videography, working with camera, drone, sound and editing to carry the story through to the finished film.

Corey leads wedding-day videography: filming, drone coverage where feasible, audio, and editing. When we are both booked, he leads video.
Jess leads creative direction, planning, client communication, and primarily photography when we work together. She also films Super 8, second angles, and BTS, and occasionally leads smaller video projects.
We both work across photo and video, with associates supporting the coverage a project needs. Your assigned team and responsibilities are confirmed in your proposal.
